Jared Leto confirms his involvement in ‘TRON’ reboot

Jared Leto, who was in talks to star in the reboot, has confirmed that the movie is in works and he is a part of bringing ‘TRON’ back. However, it’s only a possibility if it will ever make it to the big screen.

Recently, there were reports about a potential ‘TRON’ reboot, but nothing was yet official. While giving an interview to a website for an article, Leto has confirmed and said, “I’m absolutely going to try to help in any way that I can to bring that to life. It’s something that we’re in discussions about and very much looking forward to bringing it to reality. It’s very early days though.”

The ‘Suicide Squad‘ star also shared that ‘TRON‘ was a huge movie for him and hopes that the project works out for him. He said, “It was a huge movie for me as well and I do think there’s so much potential in that world, there’s so much left to be said. It’s one of my favorites.”

If the reboot does hit the big screen, it will be the first ‘TRON‘ movie since the original’s sequel in 2010 titled ‘TRON: Legacy’, which focused on the fan-favorite character, Flynn’s son Sam, played by Garrett Hedlund. The movie got mixed reactions from the critics and the audiences, but was heavily criticized for character development.
